I got me a little slice of paradise right now, felt like sharing it.
I'm sitting on my couch at 4 AM, knocking down some easy code bugs to make my users happy. I'm sipping on ginger peach tea, and eating one of these cinnamon rolls, to which I've added ground cloves as well as a bit of Madagascar vanilla which was kindly brought over by synaptotastic. I'm listening to the excellent chiptune compilation "Sea of Ice" (free download), link courtesy of shack_a_nerd.
The Christmas tree is lit beside me. Everyone in my apartment is asleep. There are no interruptions for me to fend off, no anxiety pushing inwards. Just that nice fuzzy well-being-feeling.
